The plant has an in-house Quality Assurance Department equipped with the latest computerized systems to check the critical parameters of the strapping viz Tensile Strength, Break Strength, Elongation and Elasticity Modules etc. This versatile Polyester Strapping is primarily used to secure Medium and Heavy loads. It offers elongation and elasticity characteristic which steel strap does not offer. It retains tension around loads without stretching, relaxing or elongation.
 
Salient Features

• Cost: It is cheaper than Steel Strap by at least 30 40%.
• Product Protection: It has no sharp edges, so product damages are minimized. It also does not leave rust or stain on packs when exposed to moisture.
• Shock Loading: It performs well under shock loading. For example, if a pallet using polyester strapping is dropped during handling or in transit, it takes two and half times the energy to break compared to steep straps of same break strength. This is because it can absorb the sudden forces exerted.
• Elasticity: It has good elasticity and maintains strap tension by contracting with the pack in the event of pack settlement.
• Safety: It does not Whiplash when removed, thus creating a safer work environment for user. It does not have sharp edges and so there is no risk of injuries while tensioning or cutting of the strapping.
• Low Creep: It has Low Creep properties which means that the strap tension will not relax and packs can therefore be moved safely even after extended periods of storage or transportation.
• Ease of Handling and Storage:  It can improve productivity being six times lighter than steel for a given length. It consumes less storage space and substantially reduces manual labor.
• Weather Resistance: It is virtually unaffected by weather and harsh environment. It is resistant to UV rays and holds tension even in extremes of temperature and humidity.
• Load Retention: It stays tight even after that load is compressed during storage, handling and shipping. It is highly suited for rigid loads that require strapping tension throughout handling, shipping and storage. It is the best alternative for applications that require high tensile strength, high retained tension and elongation.
